Allan Houston retired in the fall of 2005 after 12 seasons in the NBA, including nine with the New York Knicks. Houston finished his career as one of the NBA's all-time best three-point shooters and as one of the most prolific scorers in franchise history. A two-time NBA All-star who averaged 22.5 points per game in his last healthy season (10th in the league, 2002-03), Houston is remembered by many as one of the game's purest clutch long-range shooters.
